Owner/Director
Maud has a Bachelors in Economics and Sociology and Masters in Sociology from Ohio University with specialization in childhood education and socialization.
Maud owned a day care in Milwaukee WI before relocating to Franklin TN. in 2014. In Franklin she held a position at a Franklin preschool before owning Child's Play Drop In Center.
Maud has the privilege of giving back to her community by serving at her church and leading other community organizations. she enjoys traveling, reading and teaching children. She is married with three children.
Lauren Mott
Assistant Director
Lauren Mott has a bachelors in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. She has worked in a preschool setting for 5 years in the Franklin and Murfreesboro communities. Lauren grew up in the Franklin Area and returned in 2017. She enjoys working with children and families to help the children grow in a safe, nurturing, fun environment. Lauren enjoys spending time with her family and watching movies in her spare time.
Lydia Uselton
Caregiver
Lydia was raised in Tampa, FL, where she graduated from Chamberlain High School. She went to HCC for a year and a half where she majored in Nursing.
She gained experience working at St. Joseph's Hospital working as a Nurse Tech. Lydia relocated to Franklin, TN. in September 2009. In TN, she held a position at the Classical Academy of Franklin as a Preschool Teacher/Teacher's Aid. She then took a position at Williamson Medical Center as a Nurse Tech in the CCU.
Lydia enjoys cute animals, the beach, good books that come bundle with extra dark chocolate, playing board games/cards. music of all genre, dancing, arts and crafts, sports, and traveling. She is a serial sushi eater and lover of Halloween, Star Wars, pizza, shoes, coffee, and Hobby Lobby. She lives in Franklin, TN. with her husband, daughter and two sons.

Michelle Hagerman

Michelle is originally from Queens, New York and has lived in Middle Tennessee for 15 years. Her degree is in Early Childhood Education and has been a child educator for over 20 years. She has one beautiful daughter who currently attends Harvard Law School. In her spare time she likes to hang out with her cats and read.
